PERSONAL TOOL / ANALYTICS
Rick Getz
Analytics MCP.
A personal, read-only integration that helps me understand how people find and use rickgetz.com.
It uses Google’s official Analytics MCP server with my AI assistant. This page explains the integration; it is not a public sign-in or report-sharing service.
Read reports. Improve the site.
I use traffic, page-view, engagement and inquiry-link reports to review the portfolio’s usefulness. A click is not a booked call, qualified inquiry or contract.
The integration requests only analytics.readonly. It can read Analytics reports and property metadata; it cannot change Analytics settings or add users.
Authorization belongs to the account.
Google Analytics permissions still determine which properties an authorizing Google account can read. Authorizing this OAuth client does not grant someone access to my Analytics property.
The installed tool runs locally through standard input and output. This website does not expose that tool, an OAuth callback, my credentials or my private reports. There is no public signup flow here.
My Google authorization can read Analytics properties already available to my account. My configured use is limited to rickgetz.com; that limit is an operating instruction, not a separate Google property-level access restriction.
Understand the data handling.
Requested report results are returned to my AI assistant for analysis. Credentials stay outside the website and its source repository. The data-use notice explains local storage, assistant processing and revocation.
For the underlying tool, see Google’s Analytics MCP documentation. Questions about this integration can be directed through my contact page.
