data use.

Access and purpose.

The integration requests Google’s analytics.readonly permission. It reads requested Analytics reports and property metadata to assess rickgetz.com’s discovery, usage and inquiry paths. It does not request permission to read Gmail, Drive or Calendar, manage Google Cloud resources, change Analytics settings or share a property.

Google’s existing account and property permissions determine the data an authorizing account can access. Publishing an OAuth client does not itself share any Analytics property.

Storage and assistant processing.

OAuth credentials are stored on my Mac in an owner-only directory, outside the website and its source repository. They are used to authenticate API requests to Google and are not included in the website’s downloadable files.

Requested report results are provided to my OpenAI assistant for analysis and are processed under that account’s applicable terms and data controls. Results may remain in conversation history or reports I choose to save. They are not confined to local processing.

This website provides no public endpoint for retrieving the credentials or Analytics reports. This personal integration is not a shared service that routes other visitors’ requests through my Google authorization.

Retention and control.

Local credentials remain until I remove them or replace them. Access can expire or be revoked through Google Account’s third-party connections controls. Removing permission in Google stops future authorized access; it does not automatically delete previously saved reports or assistant conversations.

Saved report and conversation retention follows the controls of the place where each was saved. No fixed retention period or automatic deletion schedule is promised by this notice.

Use and questions.

Google Analytics data is used for the site-review purpose described here, not sold or used by this integration for advertising personalization. The integration follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
