MANIFEST 02 / CTO / PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

Contactless polygraph.

As CTO, I built a contactless polygraph combining contactless physiological measurements with emotional and behavioral signals. I worked closely with Department of Defense units, including the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU), to evaluate its efficacy and refine the system through their feedback.

The problem

The goal was to build a contactless polygraph that brought physiological measurements together with emotional and behavioral signals, then evaluate and refine the system through feedback.

My role

As CTO, I built the product and worked closely with Department of Defense units, including the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU), on efficacy evaluation and iteration.

The decisions and work

I combined contactless physiological measurements with emotional and behavioral signals. The work connected the technical system with an evaluation process and feedback from the units involved.

Product development and evaluation informed one another: feedback was part of refining the system.

The outcome

A contactless polygraph built and refined through an evaluation and feedback loop with DoD units, including DIU.

What I took from it

Technical product development required a clear connection between what was being built, what was being evaluated, and what the feedback supported.
